Jobs:

 

Complete team member.
Developer combined with Product support

Description:

  • This job would be complete member of the RR team.
  • Develop plugins or features for Royal Render.
  • Expandable to development of shaders and other tools for 3D animation.
  • Probably combined with the support job. (see below)


Requirements:

  • C++ Skills
  • Experience with 3D rendering and/or render pipelines


Work time:

  • Depends on development cycles, availble tasks and task complexity. No fixed work days, you only have to meet the deadline for a task.


Payment:

  • Payment is either daily- or hourly-based.
  • Additional bonus payments not excluded.

Product support

Description:

  • Answer incoming customer emails. As you are working in a team, you do not need to have experience in all kinds of support questions.
  • Support questions include:
    • Salary, Prices, Order, Licensing
    • How-to questions or bug reports for Royal Render
    • Questions about render problems (Maya does not start to render, XSI does not find textures, AFX crashes on the farm,..)


Requirements:

  • Experience with 3D rendering
  • Experience with Royal Render (can be learned as part of the job)


Work time:

  • Support emails are incoming in irregular times. They should be answered by one of the support team members within 24h (monday-friday) or 48h (weekends).
  • The average work time per day would probably be up to 2x1 hours per day (at the moment).


Payment:

  • Payment is hourly-based. Work time for all answered support emails is summed.

    "About 2 hours a day, work time is spread over the whole day, depending on your tasks (e.g. if support question is incoming) on task of my other job."
    "About 3 days a week average (2 days guaranteed each week)"
    "Weekends only, 5 hours each day"
    "I'm freelancing for other jobs (mostly 2-3 weeks per job), so you have to ask me for each task."
    "2 hours a day, 1 hour mostly around 9-10am (definitely 1/3 of all days), one-two hours around 7pm-11pm (every day)"
