Demo Version limitations:
- Some tools are not allowed to start (e.g. rrViewer)
- 4 clients only
How to install:
- Check the Requirements page first.
- Choose any workstation in your company and extract the zip file to any temp folder.
(Extract WITH folders. Do NOT extract the zip file into the RRender directory!)
- Execute rrSetup_linux or rrSetup_win.exe
(depending on the OS your workstation is running. There is no difference, the windows installer installs linux files and vice versa.)
- Instructions and informations how to setup RR in your network are displayed inside the rrSetup window.
- Further/detailed information how to setup a permanent installation and plugins
are available via the RR help files after installation.
How to Update:
- Just follow the steps from the install instructions. All jobs are kept, no need to shutdown.
- Within 5 minutes your complete farm is updated and up&running again.
- What if....??:
If the update will have important changes, we will display it at the download.
If you are worried about that something does not work, you can downgrade again:
Just rename and replace the files with the old version and send a restart command.
